Our purpose
We want to support people in quitting smoking and thereby reduce the health damage caused by tobacco smoke.
We know from experience that this is not easy. Especially if you don't know exactly how to deal with it. Among the members of NNA Smokefree Estonia are people who have gone through it. Based on our experience and good practices in other countries, we are convinced that alternative products that are scientifically proven to be less harmful will help to successfully quit smoking.
Inhaling tobacco smoke is a major cause of preventable disease and death. Alternative forms of nicotine use play an important role in preventing this harm. We want to raise awareness of less harmful alternatives through information work and thus support smokers who want to quit smoking in this way.
Such products have helped us and millions of people around the world to quit smoking. We therefore consider it necessary to share this good experience with all smokers in order to protect their and their families' health. This is how we reach a society where healthy and happy people live.
About us
The members of NNA Smokefree Estonia are people who support the goal of the association and contribute to its achievement. The members elect from among themselves the board of the association, which organizes the daily activities of the association and represents the association in public. In order to achieve the goals of the association, the management board forms working groups, which also include experts from outside the association.
People who support the purpose of the association but do not want to be members of the association can register as supporters. Supporters have the right to receive regular information about the activities of the association, express their opinion and submit ideas on how to achieve the goals of the association.
NNA Smokefree Estonia is an affiliate organisation in New Nicotine Alliance (NNA) network. NNA unites consumer organisations that promote and support tobacco harm reduction.
NNA Smokefree Estonia is a member of the International Network of Nicotine Consumer Organizations (INNCO) and the European Tobacco Harm Reduction Advocates (ETHRA).
